iLuv CES announcements
At this year's CES, iLuv expanded its lineup with a new portable speaker case and a charging station designed for travelers. The company's latest speaker case, the SmashBox Pro, runs on AA batteries and provides external controls for all of a phones major features. Meanwhile, the DreamTraveler allows users to charge multiple devices in one location.
The SmashBox Pro (iSP123) is a portable speaker case that allows users to control their phone without actually opening the case. All of a phone's features can be accessed via external buttons, such as playing and pausing music, as well as answering phone calls. In addition, the SmashBox Pro includes a carabiner clip for securing the case to a backpack, and uses AA batteries to power the speaker and prevent excessive power drain from the connected device. The SmashBox Pro is planned to be released in May for $25.
Alternatively, iLuv's new $70 DreamTraveler sports three outlets, two USB ports, and a standard iPhone dock. All three outlets offer surge protection against electrical spikes, and up to six devices can be powered simultaneously.
