Renew SleepClock coming to Apple Stores

GEAR4 has announced that its Renew SleepClock will be launched in US Apple Retail stores in March for $200. The bedside alarm clock incorporates two sensors for monitoring breathing and movement, allowing the associated iOS app to log sleep cycles. The senors have a range of 1.5m and are able to recognize movement through bedclothes and duvets. They also remove the need for any additional wristbands, headbands, or accessories that are common among other devices.

As opposed to a regular alarm, users set a wake-up range and the Renew SleepClock will use sleep data to set the alarm off at the most appropriate time. A number of customizable wake up options are included, enabling users to choose between a radio alarm, iPod music, or gentle sounds. Sleep data is also used to slowly fade a playlist while someone is falling asleep.
