CanvasWorld launches new contest

Silva has released a new iPad 2 case made from bamboo, while CanvasWorld has announced a new contest for iPhone 4S photographers


Silva has announced the launch of a new line of handmade bamboo cases designed for the iPad 2. The case's exterior is coated with a hard rubber finish, while the interior is lined with a wool felt layer to protect the iPad 2. Magnets are also built into the case to automatically put the iPad 2 to sleep when sealed away. Two variations of the case, with and without a leather handle, are available and can be purchased for $130 with free shipping inside the United Sates.

CanvasWorld iPhoneography contest

CanvasWorld has announced a new contest for iPhone 4S photographers that promises winners $100 and a free 16 x 20 canvas print. Between February 21 and March 18 contestants can submit their photos online and encourage friends and family to vote for their entires via e-mail, Twitter, and Facebook. Submitted images must be an original work taken with an iPhone 4S camera. Entires will be judged by the public and the winner will be the single image with the most votes.
