Title reaps over £169,000 in UK
Th hyped to-do list app Clear managed to sell over 350,000 copies in its first nine days, according to Realmac Software's Nik Fletcher. The product manager tells The Guardian that launch day was "massive," and that by last Wednesday, Clear was the top app on App Stores around the world. In the US store, the iPhone app is currently the third-ranked paid title.
Clear has managed to generate over £169,000 ($254,049) in revenue, even after Apple's 30 percent cut and a small 69p pricetag. Fletcher adds that roughly 3,000 people have gifted the app to friends. The Guardian remarks that the app has had special help from Apple, since it was at one point made an App of the Week.
Fletcher notes that an update to the app is in development. Afterward attention will be turned to native Mac and iPad versions, although Realmac has yet to decide which one will come first. "For now, we're focusing on Apple devices, although we're open to the idea of taking it to other platforms," says Fletcher. "It's a case of whether we can make it a great experience and translate it well."

It's really not a practical product
It's pretty to look at,and maybe enough for a soccer mum, but the app is really just showing off some pretty GUI and serves no practical purpose.
