Atlantic Inc. today unveiled the Raindrop Sleeve, a water-repellant neoprene skin for MacBooks, as well as the Ice waterproof iPod speaker system. The neoprene shell is four millimeters thick, featuring a hidden zipper and a seamless interior, which helps guard against scratching. Raindrop Sleeve comes in black and titanium colors, and is lightweight enough to be carried inside of another case, adding an extra layer of protection to a MacBook. The Raindrop sleeve will be available in three size configurations, ranging from $25 to $30, and will ship in April.
Ice ($100) is a floating iPod speaker system, made from clear shatterproof plastic. The waterproof case uses two built-in neodymium drivers to produce sounds, with bass ports to enhance low-end response. An included strap allows users to hang the case in the shower, and a stand for upright use on a flat surface. Three custom-fit spacers enable the case to hold an iPod classic, Photo, or Video, as well as any of the iPod nanos and Minis.
Atlantic will be at Macworld Expo in San Francisco, and is showing its entire line of Ego products, including the IceBar and IceBar2 waterproof sound cases.
