Memorex unveils miniMove purse shaped iPod boombox

Memorex today announced its latest iPod accessory, the miniMove boombox. Shaped like a woman's handbag, the dock can be carried using an integrated handle. An FM radio with station presets is also built-in. iPods can be placed on the dock, or other players connected using a line-in jack. An AC adapter cord powers the device and charges the player, while AA batteries are used when mobile.

Available colors include pink, teal, black, and silver. The LCD display is backlit for use in low light conditions, and a remote control is included with the package. The Memorex miniMove has a suggested price of $50 and will be available at retailers in October.
