Safari Bookbag for iPhone allows book downloads |
Safari Books Online has announced Safari Bookbag, an app for the iPhone and iPod touch that allows downloading of chapters or full book PDF files. Users can sync their device with the "My Downloads" library from a Safari Books Online account. The PDF files can then be accessed by tapping on the title of the book. When an internet connection is available, the files can be downloaded from within the Bookbag application, where they will be stored for later access.Safari Books Online combines content from a variety of technology and business publishers. The library is geared toward offering educational, training, and research resources. Bookbag for the iPhone or Touch is available as a free download from iTunes. |
